Visas are required for all visitors and/or business travellers to Sierra Leone. Visitors should obtain a visa from a Sierra Leonean Embassy or Consulates in advance of arrival. Citizens of the West African Economic Community (ECOWAS) are exempted from this requirement and do not need VISA OR ENTRY PERMIT to enter Sierra Leone. All visas will be valid from the date of issue.

THREE (3) RECENT PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS

LETTER OF INVITATION OR DOCUMENTS SUPPORTING THE APPLICANT’S VISIT - All applications for visitor's visa, must be accompanied by a letter of invitation with details of he applicant's accommodation when in the country. Business visa applications should include a letter of invitation from a registered Sierra Leonean organization or company and details of the applicant's accomodation.

A CURRENT INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION
Visa(s) issued do not exceed three (3) months. There is the possibility of the visa being issued on the same day the application is filed. Applicant/s should preferably submit forms in person in case an interview is required. See consular fees.
